1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Kiri application ("Application"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use the Application.
2. End User License Grant
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use Kiri on any iOS device that you own or control, strictly in accordance with Apple's App Store Terms of Service.
3. On-Device Model Processing & Ownership of Outputs
- Local Execution: You acknowledge that Kiri operates on-device, processing inputs locally on your hardware.
- Ownership of Generated Content: You retain full ownership of all prompts, text, notes, transcriptions, and structured cards generated using Kiri. We claim no intellectual property rights over your generated outputs.
4. Acceptable Use & Guidelines
You agree not to use Kiri to:
- Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Application, except as permitted by applicable law.
- Generate content that promotes illegal activities, hate speech, severe harm, or illegal exploitation.
5. AI Output Disclaimer
Kiri uses advanced artificial intelligence to generate text, summaries, and recommendations. While Kiri aims for high accuracy:
- AI outputs are provided for informational and creative assistance only.
- AI outputs should be independently verified for critical medical, legal, financial, or safety decisions.
- We make no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any AI-generated response.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APPLICATION IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
7. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE DEVELOPER OR ITS AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNATIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE APPLICATION.
8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
